Fashion Truffles blogger, Viviana, shares with Studio Swoon her special day
Let’s travel to San Juan to relive my friend/ fellow blogger Viviana’s big day! It was only this past October that Viv flew off to Puerto Rico with Kenny to be united in marriage on the gorgeous islands from which she is from. This #swoonstination wedding is filled with vibrant island colors, beachy-chic details, and a whole lot of happy!

Tell us what inspired your wedding:
I was born and raised in San Juan, PR so I knew from the very beginning that I wanted our wedding to be there. The idea for our theme came with time, once we had chosen our venue – the beautiful Ritz Carlton resort in San Juan. I wanted the wedding to have a beachy, but very elegant feel to it. I decided that I wanted our colors to be navy and white – a combination I thought was elegant and classic.
Tell us your favorite part of your special day:
My favorite part of the day was when I saw Kenny for the first time. We met at the gardens by the pool at the resort before a car picked us up to take us to Old San Juan for pictures. I will never forget Kenny’s expression when he saw me and what I felt when I saw him! We had been waiting for that moment for so long and it did not disappoint. It was so incredibly special!
Tell us your favorite detail:
My favorite detail was the seashells and sand dollars that were incorporated into the decor. It added that chic beachy component I was looking for!
Any tips?
Planning our wedding was fun, but stressful. The day and night went by in the blink of an eye so I tried to make sure to take a few minutes every so often to just sit with Kenny, sip on champagne, and cherish the moment.
