Monique Lhuillier | LA Flagship Ballet Window

Bridal Week Ballet.

Hello Lovelies!  NY Bridal Week is in full swing and I’m having to pinch myself, because I just can’t believe I get to be a part of this amazing industry.  Today, is a big, big. day for me!  I was invited to the Angel Sanchez 2013 Bridal Collection show!!  Oh my Swoon!!  I can’t contain myself.  I’ll be instagramming the collection, hopefully live, unless I’m having a swoon-overload, which is will undoubtedly happen.

Speaking of swoon-overloads, the Los Angeles Monique Lhuillier flagship’s windows took my inner ballerina’s breath away! I’m a huge fan of window displays, as I tend to light up like children do during the holidays.  BALLET inspired windows?  Be Still My Heart.

Do you have a favorite window display that you’ve seen or one that sticks out in your mind?

That is absolutely gorgeous…that last big ball gown is to. die. for. She makes the most gorgeous and romantic dresses. I think that Alexander McQueen has had some pretty kick-A window displays…

As a former ballerina….this is gorgeous! I think it was Lanvin that had a display a few years ago that featured these big, billowy pleated dresses. They used fans to blow air up under them and positioned the mannequins to make it look like they were swooning in the wind. It was adorable!
