Silk Robe – Summer Essential

Christian Grey would be proud.

Yes, I jumped on the 50 shades bandwagon.  There, I said it.  While, I’m not going to use this blog as a forum to discuss my thoughts, I will say that I wish I had Anastasia Steele’s closet.  For those who haven’t read the book, just imagine the closest of your dreams, filled swoon worthy frocks chosen especially for you by a personal shopper from Neiman Marcus.  Anything you could possible ever need to wear for any occasion is at your finger tips and it all fits you perfectly.  S.W.O.O.N.

Out of all the designer clothing she donned in the trilogy,  the pieces that stand out the most to me are her luxurious silk robes.  Oh, they sounded just heavenly.  I’ve been hunting for the perfect silk robes for years, and I think it is time to indulge.

You aim to please, Mrs. Sanford… I’m half way through the 50 Shades Darker and am already envious of the amazingness that is Miss Steele’s closet. I would LOVE a gorgeous silk robe to throw on after a steamy shower.

I couldn’t get past the first book, but now I’m tempted to read the last two for her closet. I have a black silk robe and I think I’ve worn it a total of 1 time! I’m more of a cotton pjs type of girl ;)

I haven’t read 50 shades, but you should definitely buy one of the robes. Mine is seriously one of my favorite things, and makes getting ready feel a little more indulgent!

Anthropologie always has these kimono robes that I love… So, you like the books? I read the first chapter sample and was not really into it… Hmm!!!

Love the yellow one… Very summery!
